wedding haze

So there it was. The best day ever. Surrounded by best friends and family, I converted the ususpecting Jackson to a Wotel. Awesome. The whole thing just flew by. I'd do it all again if I could. Dave and Glory flew in from CO. Jason and Shannon from NYC. Awesome.

And now I must eat a big, fat bowl of crow. I love LA. I know, I know. I used to rip SoreCal a new one every chance I would get. But now, I can only bring myself to crap on the drivers down there.

Cool shops. Even cooler old houses. And the coolest motorcycle shop. We had a great time down there. Hanging with Ivonne and Chris. Bigfoot Lodge, the Dresden, and the Lucky Bar.

But I don't think Smalls Wotel will let me move us down there until we've lived in SF for a bit. Oh well, many visits must happen instead.

All things considered...

All things considered, I'd like to run a shop just like this one. Of course, I'd need the capital and the knowledge. But that's beside the point. I just want to be able to go to work in a rad environment. Create shirts or other merch that you and your buddies think are funny or cool. Just hang out...

Ah! But I'd have to buy the whole block. Because next to the moto shop, I'd need to have a record place, skateshop, coffee shop and vegetarian deli.

Now before you gasp and send me a comment with "you forgot the bar, dude" or something of that nature. I did not forget the bar. That would have to be across town. That way, you could jump on your cycle after work and roll over to the watering hole for a Hamm's.
